Sheffield Campus

Kenwood Academy is a special community where everyone belongs and everyone has a voice. All staff, students, families, Governors, Trustees and partners work together as a team to realise our young people's future dreams, opportunities and destinations. We have the highest expectations for engagement, learning and achievement, and a strong culture of inclusion that means no-one is left behind.

Our students say:

  • "Kenwood is a place where we have friends"
  • "Kenwood is a place where we get to enjoy freedom"
  • "Kenwood is a place where we are not judged"
  • "Kenwood helps us achieve GCSEs and a job, and whatever else we want to do in the future"
  • "Kenwood is a place that makes you feel happier and safer"
  • "Kenwood is just a really nice community"

Our Sheffield campus provides full-time education for neurodiverse young people with an Education Health & Care Plan for communication and interaction needs alongside social, emotional and mental health needs. All students have a diagnosis or traits of autism.
